_o_PLATFORM PROPERTIES ( platform {; system {; processor {; language}}} )  
Parameter Type   Description
platform  Longint in 2 = Mac OS, 3 = Windows
system  Longint in Depends on the version you are running
processor  Longint in Processor family
language  Longint in Depends on the system you are using

This command is deprecated in 4D v17 and higher. You can use the Get system info command for complete system information, or the Is macOS, or Is Windows commands for platform information only.
